Being a Childcare Teacher at Childcare Network

I'm a childcare teacher and I love, love, love my kids. But I hate my job. We are so understaffed, underpaid, and underappreciated for the work we do. I've been at my job at Childcare Network for two years and I've seen at least 45-50 people/staff come and go. Ninety percent from quitting. Of course that leaves a burden on those who stay to cover and take care of the children and see to the needs of the school. I've been bitten, pooped on, puked on, yelled at, hit, bruised, head-butted, disrespected, and the list goes on. I've had breakdowns and called my mom crying to come and pick me up. I've consoled coworkers during their breakdowns and tears. I've seen coworkers leave children mid shift because they couldn't take it anymore. I made more money at a gas station than I do taking care of people's children. But they brag about the revenue they bring in. I'm a full time student, working a full time job getting part time pay and struggling mentally and financially. But the smiles on my kid's faces, the hugs I get, play a small part in helping me push through. But I'll say it again, the horrors I've seen at my job have aged me 60 years. Childcare Network is a terrible company.
