Yesterday was not the best day for me to say the least. I had scheduled an interview a few weeks ago, took tests, had a phone interview, etc etc. As someone who is still in college and working full time it's really difficult to get time off let alone get things to fit my schedule perfectly. As someone who isn't salary I took a day off resulting in me losing a decent amount of money and having to email professors getting clearance for my absence (shout out to the chill professors). They had me scheduled for an interview at 2pm, I was there at 1:45pm all dressed nicely and ready to go. I showed up saying I was here for an interview they looked super confused. After the store employees called around for 20+ minutes it turns out… THE HIRING MANAGER WAS ON VACATION for the next MONTH. I left with a pretty big chip on my shoulder, worst part is they had the audacity to call me a few days later to schedule another interview. I refused pretty harshly as I couldn't afford to take more time off or I won't be able to afford rent. Wasted my time tremendously and it was a HUGE red flag to me that they really didn't care.
Sorry to vent people but I'm still pretty pissed.
