i walked out on a job for not standing by their word when i interviewed.

im forklift certified i apply for a position at a hot box warehouse. no problem there. they tell me its a forklift/warehouse position. which means i’ll handle forklift duties as well as warehouse duties. 17/hr during training bs work just filling time till better opportunities. two months after interview i was signing the hiring paperwork and noticed no raise amount mentioned. i asked management about this their response “youll have to wait a year thats how we give raises” walked straight out. pissed me off completely i only took the job because they said during training i aced every task they gave me and apparently was good enough to move from temp to perm but not fit for a raise. they have high turnover for drivers and i really need to start listening when im told that.
