Team morale at work has been at an all time low. Leadership just keep piling more and more on us with no extra pay, and the expectation that “we should just do it”. It’s not in our job description, and we’re not even given proper training so when things go wrong, we get reprimanded for it even though we were not properly trained in the first place.
Anyways, I decided to take one for the team and write an email to leadership about all the challenges we’ve been having in hopes that they’ll see this isn’t ok and work with us I CC’d my entire team on the email because they all feel the same but nobody wanted to say anything out of fear of retaliation. I had finally had enough though.
Instead of acknowledging my email, it got completely ignored for three whole weeks until I finally asked my manager point blank if she has gotten my email to which she simply replied “yes I saw it. Next time you have issues please don’t copy the whole team on the thread because you just rile people up that way.” Completely sidelining my question and making me out to be the bad guy…. I hate this place
