I have heard nothing but bad from katkin.
Nice working environment is not what they stand for. Selling products with bacteria!! I know people that work there and gosh….even the managers say a bunch of stuff. Spraying NON WATERED DOWN ACID NEAR THE EMPLOYEES AND THE MEAT. No bank holidays. Working on Christmas Day. Not paying people correctly then saying they “can’t be bothered” to fix it. Sacking people if they get hurt at work. Bugs and maggots infestation. And much more. Hiring managers with no experience what so ever?!? Just read about this…
For starters I spoke to a previous employee of theirs and he showed me pictures of maggots in their factory in haverhill. I've also heard plenty of rumours from others that have worked their that they never clean their machines out after production and the hygiene manager supposedly told them to not produce for two days and do a deep clean, which they ignored.
I also know for a fact they don't steam their food anymore. They are onto batch cooking….Despite profiting 5 million in one year, this wasn't enough for them so they decided to stop steam cooking their food and use cheaper meat products from Morrisons. Also they apparently don't care if goods in fail a temperature check (explains the bad smelling product may I point out)
Katkin does not care about you or your cat, their soul purpose is to make money in their maggot infested warehouse. Apparently also according to this employee, they treat their staff like crap and are apparently being forced to work Christmas day. Katkins greed knows no bounds, they are nothing more than scum of the earth.
Also their whole company is absolute cringe. The owners of this company are also true scum. They apparently never pay their staff correctly and one family in particular said they would start work at 3 am and after they got fired, they were informed that the company never wanted them to start that early and will only get paid from 5am, despite this family being asked to come in at 3am. This means they also promote slave labour and will do anything not to spend money even if it involves insect infested product.
For your cats sake, never buy their absolute shit.
