Long story short, I ended up In a position where the company Laid me off, However, my Manager then made up a story of how I decided “leave” on my own “while still employed” and now I can't claim my unemployment insurance due to this. (Note, I didn't sign any paperwork that had this exact writing, even though they heavy pressured me to do so) What should I do here? Am I really screwed till I find another job?
