My worst experience job hunting

I’m 17f and when I was 16 I was desperate to leave my toxic workplace. I had panic attacks every day, my manager bulled me and destroyed my self esteem and confidence and I had no desire to even be alive after awhile. I began looking for a new job and applied to everywhere that would hire a high school student. Half the sites most of these places use don’t even allow you to finish an application. For example I tried applying to Taco Bell and halfway into it it switches me over to a Chick-fil-A application and said I’d be perfect for this job and I was never able to apply for anything online. I called every place I applied to to ask about the application a few days after I sent it and was always told that the hiring manager was busy and to call back at a later time and I would only to be told that they still weren’t available. I went 2 months without talking to a SINGLE hiring manager even when I went to the restaurant/store in person and asked for them. I’ve had so many mental breakdowns trying to get a shitty minimum wage job and couldn’t even get 1 interview.

Finally I got to talk to a manager at a grocery store and he had me submit a 2nd online application which was not put together very well and he couldn’t even figure it out and I eventually considered it a lost cause. I don’t work at the same part of the store I used to work and I like my current department a lot better but it took months of hell to get here.
