I Can’t Wait!

So, I got released. I've experienced so much frustration and deterioration of health. I can never get that year and a half back in my life that I exchanged for some money that is less valuable today than it was yesturday. As I spend this day working on my former employer's soon to be returned monitor that flashes a black screen every few seconds, I can't help but think how nice it is going to be to return this “perk” they gave me. I'd like to thank my former employer for the years they took off my life, for the opportunity to tackle more work than I could reasonably accomplish, for aggressively and consistently changing my job duties and setting unrealistic deadlines and for failing to allow me to speak up and tell them that I could not do it all. I will however take the knowledge and skills that I honed and give them to a new employer.
