pushing the Reverse Gaslight button

I communicated at work that I dont want to do the same piece of work twice and its good to have a discussion to understans before rushing into the matter at hand. Made a casual comment regarding having other work on hand to complete and this is the reply I got: “everyone in this compant is overloaded with work” Im taking this as a sign to bail and gtfo.
