I feel like most don’t realize what’s going on in this country. They don’t realize how bad they’re being screwed over. Most even assume prices are going to drop any day now. They believe the US federal reserve will succeed in fighting inflation by keeping rates high. Most don’t realize these high rates are contributing to inflation too and will actually results in higher inflation in the long run due to government having to cover interest on debt via printing even more.
All in all they’re not fighting inflation, they’re fighting you and fighting to make you poorer and keep you in poverty longer. Look at how most jobs in America are still paying 2000s wages. Minimum wage shouldn’t become $25/hr, that should have happened at least a few years ago. It should at least be $30 now.
The worst part is most assume things are going to get better without any action on their end, but it’s not, it’s really going to get worse for the average American.
