My now previous employer was trying to hire a 2nd person for my same job title. I looked at the posting and they were offering $1 per hour more than what they were paying me. I had been there 18 months. My boss then resigned. I put my name up for consideration for that position. I was told they did not think I was ready for it and left the position open. It is still open 3 months later. I found a job that pays more and is closer to home and gave my notice. The owner called me trying to talk me out of leaving.
