How is anyone supposed to pursue job hunting when 90% of offers and interviews are fucking scams? It feels like such a cosmic asskicking every time you hear from a potential employer with a livable rate of pay and suddenly they reveal that they want to do the interview on Skype messenger or Telegram. It's soul-crushing. How are people actually finding new jobs these days?
Not to mention, the concept of giving a star employee more responsibility without even the potential for a pay raise should be criminal. Or at least frowned upon and not standard practice. It should embarrass a company to do that.
