Got a new bartender job on a 0 hour contract to earn before Uni (uk).
Baring in mind they told me i’d get 2-3 shifts a week, and some will be until finish (1am-3am).
All shifts worked so far have been 6pm-10pm, 1 shift a week.
2 Weeks ago, in my ONLY shift that week, as i was driving they text me to say they didn’t need me. I went in anyway as they told me so bloody late i was already in the car park by the time i’d seen it.
They gave me NO shifts the next week.
Then 3 hours before my shift today, only shift this week, they cancelled it with the same excuse as they did 2 weeks ago.
If it wasn’t just for summer i’d quit right now, but my family want me to stick it out.
So from the beginning of my long summer i’ve only worked for 12 hours on £7.50 per hour.
