Contractors deserve PTO, Holidays, everything the full employees get (small rant)

For context, I (M30) have been working as a contractor (through a small contracting company, so I don't have any terms-arguing power) for a big company (700k employees worldwide) as an IT guy for one of their offices, for the past 15 months on an originally 3-6 month contract to hire job. I'm paid hourly, so when a holiday rolls around, I don't get paid for that day since I can't go in to work (office closed), I don't accrue PTO so any day I don't feel well, or need a mental health day I have to decide between working or losing the day's wages. And as a contractor I get none of that. I'm expected to do what they do, while being treated as less and I'm getting damn tired of it. On top of that, over the last 5 months, I've been assisting in the buildout of a new location. So doing more work than some of my counterparts…

Ugh… rant over. Anyone else in the same boat? Shouldn't contractors, who do the same amount of work, get the same benefits as the full-timers? To not give PTO and holidays feels criminal. Like my mental health (and regular health) don't matter.
