Got permanently hired after being a temp was originally told that I would get a dollar raise if permanently hired. Which I did it’s now 16$. However I’ve been performing superbly according to management and was told we’re going to try and get you more money. Today I got my offer letter and it was exactly the raise I would’ve gotten regardless of anything. They’re pretending like this is a huge bump literally lying to my face. I took the offer because I needed the insurance being diabetic sucks. Anyway need advice. If my family is supportive I’m just going to ghost this job. Apparently the guy I replaced always asked for a raise and never got it instead got replaced so I’m not going to make fuzz about it my exit strategy is not to come back unless someone else has a better idea.
