Company hasn’t paid our salaries and is expecting us to work. Should I resign?

Have been working here for nearly a year and it's my first job. The company hasn't been able to pay our salaries from the last couple of months as they have ran out of funding. During this year, there have been 3 layoffs, and they have laid off more than 50% of the employees (even their FnF's have been stuck). At this point I'm too depressed and confused about what to do. The most haunting thing is the leadership still expects us to work, they say stuff like – “you've supported us for so long, please do it a little bit more. having an attitude like this where you don't want to work harms the company as it's business as usual and the company still needs you”. I told him I can't and he asked to apply for a leave instead if I can't, so I did as I got pissed. I don't understand what to do now. I'm thinking of resigning, but I don't have an offer. What do I do? This all while being WFH.
