So I woke up to an email this morning from management saying that we are no longer permitted to listen to music/podcasts on our headphones while we're in office, because apparently “shutting out your colleagues” is disrespectful. I was already looking for other jobs prior to this news as the office already feels like a prison, but I'm lost for words at this news. Has anybody else encountered this kind of bs rule in their office ?? Curious to hear your thoughts.
