Hi, everybody. I wanted to ask how you all felt about these one-way “”interviews”” that have suddenly become a thing on job boards. I did one once in like 2020 for indeed and it was the last time I ever did one. It feels awkward talking to no one but my webcam. But later my HR brain kicked in and I was thinking “this is totally a way to discriminate against older people, people of color, or people with disabilities and/or sell data”
Now when some place requests it as part of their interview process, I immediately mark myself as no longer interested and withdraw my application.
