So I have no idea what happened and I’m trying to wrap my head around this. I went on an interview for a job that was perfect for me. I could do it and do it well. It went great. They requested a second interview with the CFO and that went great as well. Every question he had I could answer and it was clear that I knew what I was talking about. They did a background check and had me provide references which they checked on. All great. Then I get a text message that they want me to meet with HR over zoom. I say absolutely, tell me the time. And that’s it. No responses to emails, no return phone calls. I’m just floored because I thought everything was great and it was all but a done deal. We hadn’t even talked about salary but what I wanted was in the range of what they posted so that couldn’t be it. I’m just very depressed and upset now because I have no idea what went wrong. Anyone here have any insight? Is it something I did so I know not to do it again?
