Forced to be in office

So, I work for a healthcare facility making outbound calls 9am-530pm. I call and reschedule patients, so basically am the punching bag 90% of the time. Anyways, I deal with severe fatigue and I also have inattentive ADD, anxiey. I find it so much easier to focus and work alone. However, when I asked my boss about working from home like most of the other workers she told me id have to “apply for a different position there”. This makes absolutely NO sense considering I literally sit in an office, making calls with only one other employee and do not deal directly with patients. Why should I have to start a different position to WFH? Instead i get to waste gas everyday and be annoyed by the overly bright lights and white walls and listen to the office door open constantly so people can come in and get their food…

What a bunch of BS.
