Should I be lying? My friend lies by a couple dollars per hour and his new offers are equal or a tad higher than the lie. Can’t they look at “the work number” and know you lied?
My last interview they offered the same wage I made in an identical tech position for a different dealership make. Pretty much how it goes for me, new offers arent an increase.
I find it hard to lie because they don’t share the compensation band in the job ad. Nor do most other employers with ads for similar roles share the compensation band.
