This is the first time (as far as we know) that he got Covid. His symptoms were severe, he could barely walk without nearly falling over. The doctor took him off work for 5 days. He texted his boss a picture of the official diagnosis and a picture of the doctor's note with his instructions to quarantine for 5 days… When he returned on day 6 his HR manager was there and wrote him up, despite the doctors note and positive Covid test.
