So I work a job as a truck driver. All the upper management pulled me into the office today…. They say there was “unotoheroized charges on my fuel card”… they say the card was charged for unleaded gas. It was when I was there getting fuel but obviously since the charge was over 100 dollars and I was there getting diesel it was a problem with some other system reading it out or something. They keep saying “they’re not accusing me” but it feels like they are.
My direct supervisor is being cool and I know he thinks if I’m innocent but now they’re going to “conduct an investigation”. It feels like a stupid problem they could easily figure out but idk
