So I recently had a meeting with the medical director at my job, I work for the nhs.
I told them about all of the misgivings I have about my current position and how because of these I wanted to leave this position. A colleague had recently left and they advised me to apply for their position as I'd be under a different management team.
Today I opened my emails to find my application to the role had been rejected. The director who told me to apply for the position would have been one of those selecting the applications for interviews.
What are my options here?
