Hey guys,
I started what I thought was my dream job about 4 months ago. When I joined, we only had an acting manager (who was lovely).
Just over a month ago we got a new manager. From the get go I knew she didn’t like me- this is before she even knew me. I tried to reassure myself that I was just overthinking, but no, I was right.
Within 2 weeks of her being manager, she tried to formally write me up for being “away” on teams for 5 minutes- I WAS TAKING A SHIT ??
She has been crazily micro managing me and now I’ve found out she’s even gone to the recruitment team asking who even recruited me, how did I even get the job etc
I found this out through my coworker who is my closest friend here and I completely trust. I’m already looking for a new job but what else should I do before I leave/during this period?
I’m considering talking to her big boss on my final day and just telling him everything. (Btw she speaks incredibly badly about other people to us all the time, so I know a few people are not happy with her).
How the fuck do I deal with this while I find a new job???? I would love to just quit but I need money to pay rent :/
