How is the Climate Crisis affecting your attitude towards work?

It’s been confirmed that 2023 was the hottest summer to ever occur on this planet. Fauna and flora are dying at unprecedented rates. Forest fires, smoke, hurricanes, flooding, you name it it’s here. And yet. We trudge to and fro our jobs day in day out. We aren’t given the time or money to experience our dying planet. The nature we are exposed to is homogenized and shrunk and fenced off and monetized. I don’t know what to do. I want to see some whales and coral reefs, but I can’t afford to do that, but if I don’t do it now, they may not exist when I can! What is this terrible contradiction??
