Am I in the wrong? (Employee vs contractor)

I recently quit an online fitness coaching job where meetings were “optional” but if I didn’t show, I wasn’t a “team player” yet I was not allowed to charge for the meetings, I had report cards done on my check in work, had a multitude of other tasks that were required of me that were not in my contract and the owner refused to pay me for, I got paid time off but was only allowed to take two weeks off a year (an employee benefit, but I was a contractor not an employee), and many other things that legally would have made me an employee, not a contractor. Side note: when all of this was brought to their attention, I was told “it’s part of your coaching duties” yet it was not outlined in my contract. They offered to add these duties INTO my contract without any additional pay. My right as a contractor says I can charge for any task/meeting I do, yet they were not going to give me any additional pay. They were simply just going to add these things into my contract. When I declined, they said “fine, you don’t have to do these additional tasks, but then you’re not a team player and I wouldn’t want you on my team anymore”

Anyone else have this experience?
