Disabled people who either still choose to work, or who are forced to because of economic factors. Really get the short end of the stick by abusive customers and managers

I quit my job because I am disabled and my chronic pain could no longer be managed. My workload was literally making my pain worse. I was expected to bend over backwards and act as happy as a clam while inside I was screaming. I had a smile on my face while I wanted to be in fetal position. This goes for anyone with a chronic condition. This in any sane world would be considered abuse. But capitalism celebrates it. Those of us who can't afford to not work because disability doesn't actually work for most of the disabled population. Are truly thrown to the wolves.

Meant to put in double the effort to have the same metrics as an able bodied person.

Those who are disabled, who truly do it for thr social interaction. (Especially older people, who are lonely and often isloated) Get the most demeaning work. It makes no sense. On top of that spoken to like trash when we make a mistake because we can't think straight. We don't want to trot out are disability as a way to explain ourselves.
I do consider age in some cases as a disabling factor to a sustainable life

I've done it once and a customer got incredibly embarrassed. It should never have come to that. But customer service gives incentives to brats.
Or customers are tone deaf and ask ” Why not go on disability?” Not knowing how infantilizing and frankly disrespectful the process is if you can afford an attorney to get on it in most cases. Nor do they really care to know, so the question is a waste of breath.

Really am unsure of why this is never discussed and why there is no solution.
