27M here. I know the title sounds kind of silly, specially because there is still the general misconception that being a YouTuber is not a real job and only 14 yrs old teenagers do videos for YouTube. I work as a Field Engineer for a Telecommunications company and have been at it for over a year. While the job pays well and the company is great, I've been feeling like I'm sidelining my dreams. This has led to increasing feelings of depression over time, reaching a breaking point after a year. Consequently, I've been consistently late to work for the past three months, struggling with motivation.

My boss surprised me by being understanding when we had a conversation about this issue. However, now I feel a sense of guilt for leaving, as if I'm being ungrateful. On top of that, I'm uncertain about whether I can sustain myself financially by pursuing my passion initially. Currently, I earn around £1500 a month. Yet, I believe that if I devote all my time and effort to what I genuinely love, I can achieve both a decent income and improved mental well-being.

Has anyone else faced a similar situation? I'd appreciate any advice or insights on how to move forward.
