City worker gets sued for fraud after recording commute as work time

There was a theoretical financial damage of 2300 CHF but since her recorded commute hours (44h) went towards overtime, her hours just got deducted and ultimately there was no damage. Somehow she was still sued, got convicted for multiple fraud and had to pay 3000 CHF and additional 800 CHF in legal fees. Although this might be a somewhat extrem case. Don't get caught. https://www.20min.ch/story/baselland-die-entlassung-war-noch-nicht-strafe-genug-634066036418
