“Who trained you” lol wut

Long story short, ERS errors. Tried contacting someone from the other branch. Posted it on the maintenance log. Got told off by maintenance supervisor for not calling him ahead of time because 1. It is late and 2. I was told he’s only available at 9 am. I work the night shift. I told him about the miscommunication. That I thought he was only available from 9 to 5 so I wasn’t sure if I could contact him at this time. But it is an emergency and after attempts of trying to restart the computer, I decided to call for assistance. And then he asked “who trained you?” Like what? That’s a bit condescending. Like at least I’m trying to get to someone rather than dismiss the situation. And this is the thanks I get? Idk why is my job full of AGHHHHHH. Am I overthinking this interaction?
