As the title says, I have worked for this company for two years in total and in that time we have not had to sign a non compete, I work at a daycare and was allowed to babysit kids previously, but with this new non compete I would probably not be allowed to.
Along with the non compete they are asking me to sign a PIIAA, I’ve only had to sign one of these before and that was when I worked at Apple, not at a daycare center. The terms of the contract are very broad and I don’t feel comfortable with what is included in it, especially after working there for 2 years.
This was given to me as part of new hours that I have requested as I was full time and I am asking to work on a part time basis. I’m not sure what to do as I don’t want to lose my job.
