job -helpdesk/IT technician
Just had a meeting asking when can I expect some higher salary and such, was told I need to grind, be passionate and give my all to this job. I need to ho the extra mile. I need to spend my time off and weekends learning about networks etc if I want to get paid more and get ahead. (all that to go from 15 to 17 per hour…)
Problem is, I don't really give a shit. I just don't want to have a career and I don't want to spend my time off learning about things I don't give a shit about in hopes it will maybe lead to a better paying job later. I want to do my 9 to 5 and go home.
So what can I do? Do I need to keep hopping from one job to another until my attitude catches up to me?
