Need advice…

I've been working at a family owned company for about 5 years. Long story short, the original co-owner, let's call him John was kicked out years ago due to disputes and power struggles between his sister (Jane). He had invested over half a million for the company and was sueing her to get his money back. Fast forward to today, he's now coming back for the company and all of her assets. I've worked with them both and have mutual respect for both of them. I am the store manager and i've been caught in between their dispute. My current boss Jane doesn't tell me much about her case, but her brother has been calling me and updating me about the process. My boss is claiming that she is at the company for x amount of hours and claims that her brother will not be able to run the company…

I've worked with them both and have mutual respect for both of them. I am the store manager and i've been caught in between their dispute. My current boss Jane doesn't tell me much about her case, but her brother has been calling me and updating me about the process. My boss is claiming that she is at the company for x amount of hours and claims that her brother will not be able to run the company if he isn't willing to put in those x amount of hours as well. She is completely lying, but now John needs a statement from a 3rd party that she isn't at the store for what she claims to be.

I don't want to get in between the two, but idk what I should do. How should i weigh my options? Should i do what's right by giving my statement? I want to talk to my current boss about this, but she has kept me in the dark this whole time about her lawsuit.
