So, I work for a relatively large, global chain of hotels and run the kitchen for our complimentary breakfast. It's nothing fancy, all microwaved, served buffet style, it's an easy job until it isn't. Well, one of our fridges died a few weeks back and I let the managers know. They tried moving the food from it to another fridge even though it was all out of temp and I told them that we needed to toss it. Instead, they decided losing hundreds of dollars in inventory was unacceptable and stored it anyway and won't let me toss it. However, I refuse to serve it. Today, my AGM finally said we need to have a 'talk' about it. Wish me luck! Cause spoiled eggs and spoiled milk are definitely NOT dangerous…
