I was just laid off from my job at 22 weeks pregnant so that’s fun! They offered me a temporary position and the assignment would last me until right around my due date and then it would end (same salary I’m at). Whether I take the temp extension or not I still receive serverance.
Idk what to do. Thinking about interviewing and going somewhere new during this time of pregnancy seems so stressful…and then of course having to tell a new company I’d need maternity leave so soon after starting. I think it’s probably better just to ride it out somewhere I’m comfortable until it’s time for this baby to come. I feel like the timing of this is so suspicious as I’ve been doing a great job at work and they’ve even recently given me more responsibilities.
I’m so annoyed right now. I also have been loading up my 401k because my husband has been doing great at work and I haven’t needed my salary as much so I honestly feel like they noticed that as well….
