Quit My Toxic Job Don’t Know If I Made The Right Decision

I want to share my story with you all, and I'm seeking advice and support from this community. I recently made the tough decision to silently quit my job due to relentless bullying and harassment by my older coworkers. I was the youngest person in my office, with coworkers who were 10-15 years or more older than me. We initially got along, but at one point, things took a terrible turn.

I became the target of continuous abuse, particularly from one individual who physically harassed me. They would do things like sneak up behind me, pull my hair, and make disturbing comments about it, such as stating how they wish they could rip my hair out and put it on their own head. These incidents happened multiple times and created a hostile environment.

To add to the stress, I'm a college student who was working full-time, and I often brought my schoolwork with me. One incident that deeply affected me was when one of my team members drew inappropriate (male genitals) content all over my book in pen.

What made matters worse was the overwhelming workload I had to bear, often feeling like I was carrying the heaviest load in the office.

The situation was made even more unbearable by the severe lack of management support. Whenever I sought help or discussed these issues with my manager, I was told, “These things typically work themselves out,” leaving me feeling unheard and unsupported. I feel guilty for leaving and scared for the future. Has anyone been in a similar situation?
