Work at a call centre got told a nee policy where if you don’t make a sale within 4 hours of work you get told to log off

And I'm someone who makes a couple sales a day but today nobody was really answering the phone and yours truly got told to log off. Is this even legal to do in Canada? I'm quite upset.
