Would you expect to get the rest of the day paid if you got t-boned in a work vehicle and it wasn’t your fault?

On the eve of my birthday no less, I got t-boned in my work van (I’m an hvac tech). There weren’t any other vehicles at the shop that I could use so I just went home. I got hit at 11:30 but didn’t make it home until around 2pm (my day usually ends at 3:30 if I take breaks). The person who hit me ran a stop sign, and I’m pretty sure the van is totaled.
