I have applied for WFH job here in Europe, but it's US company. That means that I will have to work night only and sometimes weekends, but no more than 40 hours a week. They wrote bunch of benefits, 30 days PTO and stuff that are normal in Europe. I was like: “Why not?! When I care, my English is good. I am patient (from time to time) and it could work for some time”. It's Customer Support and I had my doubts, but salary is 2k a month after tax and it's above where I live.
First interview – easy, next one in a week.
Second interview – some test and then manager + HR, also passed.
Third and last interview today – similar crew, but shocking info. Only after weeks of all this and after I had to refuse other job opportunities, they told me next: “Our company also supports clients with ADULT content and since we cannot discriminate any sexuality, you would be seeing all sort of materials while providing ASSISTANCE”. That's when I lost my shit These people intentionally left key information for the end. Job is literally corn industry and you don't get to choose, but you have to adapt to something you might be completely uncomfortable and should I say uninterested with lol I was laughing for 30 seconds and I told them that they can't be serious. They laughed for 5 seconds and said that's why we pay the best in business. I have nothing against corn and industry, but I was supposed to be customer support for over 3000 websites. They forgot to mention they are adult only or adult at all. Anyways, fuck capitalism and fuck my day. I guess next day is there…boiiii
