A few months ago, I applied to Cracker Barrel. I got the job, did orientation, did computer training, and was told that I would start training soon. After about a week, I saw nothing on my schedule. I called them and got no answer. I called again and again two weeks turned into 3 then into a month. After calling with no answer, I decided to find another job. I kept calling Cracker Barrel until a month passed. They kept sending me benefits mails and shit about the company. Why did they do this? How do I quit? I still technically work there, I just was never put on the schedule. It was a 30-minute drive from me, so I didn't bother driving there to check-in. Maybe that's my fault but if you hire someone, you should know to put them on the schedule. No way they just forgot about me. Then they NEVER picked up the phone. WTF?
