Antiwork

I walked out of a job interview today after the interviewer berated an employee in front of me.

Retail, bullshit job I neither want or need, but I am on universal income at the moment so have to attend enough interviews to keep the income support team happy. 3 minutes into this interview, the door is open, a floor staff member comes in and asked when the boss will be done because there is a customer who needs something. No. “sorry, I am busy” or “tell X to deal with it” …straight into “Jesus christ! It's SUNDAY and I am INTERVIEWING can't anyone DO ANYTHING themselves here!” in that just bordering on shouting voice that shithead managers do. So I stood up, and said “I do not want to work for someone like you” and I left. I hope my leaving didnt get the shopworker in any more grief than she already had, who knows maybe she will leave too.
