I'm a server with your average micro manager for a GM. Walked in to work today to find out that our GM sent home the entire kitchen staff because they were a few minutes late to open. He is currently doing all the kitchen work with one other person who is currently training.
Food wait times are 20+ mins for a burger but it hasn't effected my tips much so I've been staying. But I'm seriously considering walking out to find a new job. I was already on the lookout for a new one so I wouldn't mind it much.
I don't want to work for a dictator or someone who allows their ego to negatively effect their workers wages.
