Handed in my notice today, had an email from my boss telling me he wants a meeting tomorrow because “that doesn’t seem like the best step in your career” Geez, getting paid more than the senior engineers here, without having to give up a week every month on call, brand new van with brand new equipment, wicked pension, more holiday than you can shake a stick at, paid sick leave… Fucking hell, how on earth can this be a step back?
