I run a consultancy and am committed to getting the right wages for the people we hire. Problem is, a client wants a rate that is well below the skill level they want. They want a junior researcher at the price of an intern. I am going to try to explain that what they are asking for and what they are paying don't match. Any pointers from people with experience in consulting? I want to get the work, but I can't take jobs that underpay. I want to build a relationship with this client, if we can sort out the rates.
