So I've got a real good reputation at the company amongst the working shlubs, and lots of people confide their feelings and ne and look up to me – not me bragging, literally what my boss's boss told me when they asked me to start snitching on people who are unhappy with anything about the company.
Do they not understand that if I snitch out people I will lose any of the goodwill I've cultivated? Have they considered that maybe im trusted because I don't spread people's shit around to their bosses?
Here's what I'll tell them every time: stop treating your staff like idiot children, stop pretending you're CIA agents. Treat people like people and do your own job well and you won't need a fucking spy.
