So this company I work for offers a bonus, a percent of your salary, if you have perfect attendance. Meaning never late and dont miss a day of work. So I got sick at the beginning of the week for only two days. Now I dont get my bonus. I’m pretty pissed off, for the entire quarter i’ve shown up early and never missed a day. Then I get sick and it was not a no show. I emailed my manager and let him know I was sick and won’t be there. Now I show up to work and poof bonus gone.
What makes me more mad is that they dont realize they are incentivizing coming to work sick. I GOT SICK AT WORK. So because I was the responsible adult I get punished. Wow hate this place, getting my 6~8 months in and can’t wait to leave.
