I have no idea if this is the right place or not but here we go.
I’m casual, been working with this company nearly a year. I’m booked for surgery and will have roughly 1-2 weeks off. I’ve been eager for a holiday to see friends but I have a reason to believe that this will be seen as a “holiday break” to the 7 people I work with.
How can/do I book for holidays if nobody can cover me? I work with older people who’ve accumulated weeks of sick leave, RDOs etc and it’s not been an issue for them.
I work warehousing with millions of product and yes, seven people. Australia.
