I’m 18f in my first job that was easy to get as my dad is friends with the boss (not manager)
It’s a desert parlour and we get most of our orders from things like Uber eats/deliveroo etc so lots of drivers come and go. My manager (not boss) had an argument with one of the drivers who apparently spoke to him rudely, the driver leaves and the manager then goes on to get really really angry and he picks things up and starts throwing them and yelling and swearing, saying that he hates the job and everyone there and me and my coworker back into a corner and I was terrified
I have no evidence my phone was in the way of all the stuff he throw and I thought he may hit me if I got close
Now this is my first ever job I’m sure people get angry but I have no idea how unprofessional this is and what to do, I could tell my boss but I have no evidence and the boss and manager are very close and I’m also new, I turned to my coworker and he said don’t worry hell stop stop so I’m guessing this is soemthing he does often but if it is I don’t want to work here I’m already the only girl at my job but now I’m terrified
Writing this I’m in the bathroom on a break crying it sounds stupid but I grew up in an abusive home with a very angry father but I do lvoe this job and from what I’ve heard this specific manager may be leaving soon
If I don’t reply soon I’ve put notifications on mute as I’m still at work and don’t want anyone to see this but any advice would help thank you 🙂
