Getting asked to work on day off/vacation as an hourly employee

Like many employers-my employer is a greedy, unethical, cheap SOB. I work administrative for a “luxury” apartment complex and of course am employed “at-will”. I dont get any benefits besides the 10 days PTO which isnt even off because my employer constantly bothers me asking to respond to stupid, petty emails that she can easily respond to herself while im on vacation. More recently my family member tragically passed and I had to fly down for the funeral. My boss texts be (knowing that family member passed and I would be OOT for the funeral) and asked me to “call the bed bug guy when I land” in response to my message telling her id be away… Someone she could easily call herself as she has their number. Obviously this was highly disturbing for obvious reasons. Additionally, im payed hourly-NOT on salary. As of lately, shes been texting me on…

Obviously this was highly disturbing for obvious reasons. Additionally, im payed hourly-NOT on salary. As of lately, shes been texting me on Mondays which is my day off asking me to respond to emails and to just “leave early the next day” because theyre too cheap to pay me and extra $52 for the 2hrs worked on my day off. I work a 37 hour week so its not even like they would have to pay me overtime. Leaving early on Tuesday is not the same as having two consecutive, unbothered days off, Sunday/Monday. And its really frustrating because I feel taken advantage of, but am too afraid to say no as im employed at well and wouldnt put it past them (even though im a great, reliable employee) to let me go because I set a boundary. And advice or input is appreciate!
